Non-Shipwreck Emeralds

The emerald is known as the stone of successful love, providing sensitivity and loyalty to its wearers. It is believed to elevate mental discernment and give the ability to make the “right” decision. It is believed to bring sexual energy to the wearer and to be beneficial to healing the heart and lungs.

Emeralds were worshipped by the Incas.  The Spanish first learned of the existence of Colombian emeralds in 1537 through a gift given by the Indians to the Spanish, who then showed the Spanish the location of the emerald mine in Colombia.

The emerald is the birthstone for the month of May.
