New Discoveries on the Atocha site!

We are excited to share with you our recent discoveries:

• 2 - Pottery shards with glaze intact
(Majolica blue on blue)

• 1- Pottery fragment with sweeping handle

• 2- Silver-encrusted objects
(possible silver plate rim)

We have also been using our new emerald sifting tray, seen below. While this may not be gold bars and silver bars, it does mean that we are in the right place and hot on the trail of the Nuestra Señora de Atocha shipwreck!
